My name is Arik Akunis and I have been in the field of lighting for over the last 20 years.

My experience in the world of lighting

I started my journey in the world of lighting in the lighting niche for events(outdoors and indoor) where I first came across a festival of lights and immediately fell in love with it.

So why a blog about lighting festivals?

Out of my passion for the world of outdoor lighting and in particular for the world of lighting festivals and since I did not find any site that combines all the lighting festivals information, I decided to write about the festivals and present all the desired information about them so every one can find and enjoy it as I do.

So what can you find on my blog?

Welcome to my festival of lights website blog, here you can find all the information about the best light festivals near you and all over the world.

Here you can find what you can see at the festival, the dates it is held, the location of the festival, the hours of operation, the cost of tickets to the festival, the expected weather, hotels and restaurants in the area, and if you have already arrived, what else can be done in the area. Y can actually plan your visit to the festival

You are probably asking if the blog has info for all the light festivals in the world?

I am doing my best to cover all light festivals (there are a lot of them :-) ) and if you haven’t found your festival, please fill out the form and I will do my best to cover it and bring you the information

Is the information updated?

Yes, I update the posts whenever I find new information about the festival at the top of each page you can see when it was last updated, and also on each festival page I added the sources of information so you can check for yourself if you are not sure about something.
