Festival of Lights Callaway Gardens Dates (2022-2023)
Whether you drive through in your vehicle or take the Jolly Trolley, you will certainly not regret taking a ride through the illuminated forests at the Callaway Resort Gardens, which is located in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
The Festival of Lights will be on November 18, 2022, to January 1, 2023. During that time, you can explore the forest of glittering lights and bigger-than-life Christmas scenes that feature towering nutcrackers, massive snowflakes, and many more.
You can also make your way down to the Christmas Tree Lane, a magical trail lined with zones of beautifully decorated trees, before you stop for some snacks at the Sing-a-Long-S’more Pits.
Where Is the festival of lights and How to Get There
The Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights is located in Callaway Resort and Gardens (17617 US-27, Pine Mountain, GA 31822) , an award-winning two 500-acre gardens and resort in the southernmost foothills of Georgia’s Appalachian Mountains in Pine Mountain. The place is also a wonderful experience for training sessions, reunions, business meetings, and even weddings.
Keep in mind that Callaway Gardens is in Pine Mountain, sixty minutes southwest of Atlanta and thirty minutes north of Columbus.
If you’re traveling from Columbus, Take I-185 North to Ga. Hwy. 18 East (exit 34). Turn right off Hwy. 18 to the entrance of Callaway Gardens.
But if you’re traveling from Atlanta, Take I-85 South to I-185 South (exit 21). From I-185, exit at U. S. Highway 27 (exit 42). Follow Highway 27 South to Pine Mountain. In Pine Mountain, turn right onto Highway354 West. Now, you can proceed to Georgia Highway 18 and turn left into Callaway Gardens.

Families with kids can enjoy the entire ride on the Jolley Trolley without extra cost. Christmas Village has a kid’s playland and Santa’s residence, open every day at 4 PM. Meanwhile, the Fantasy in Lights ticket also offers complimentary fee to Callaway Gardens throughout the day, from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
Make sure you also do not miss the cozy Christmas Market, where classic characters such as Santa, Rudolph, and friends await the opportunity to usher in the holiday season and get a start on all your Christmas shopping.
On top of the drive-thru lights scenes, the Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights has two ten-minute light shows at the Robin Lake Beach near their Christmas Village.
How Much It Cost to Visit Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights
So, how much does it cost to experience the Callaway Garden Festival in Lights? The answer will depend on when you wish to go.
Prices for adults and children vary a lot. Also, the day you choose also changes the admission cost. The prices could range from $16.95 for a kid on a value day to $34.95 for an adult on a super prime day. If you have a child under two years old, congratulations because they can enjoy free admission.
On top of that, the tickets are per person and not per vehicle. It’s suggested that you buy the tickets beforehand to ensure you get the time and date slot you like. Also, tickets are sold on the hour for Jolley Trolleys and the half-hour for those personal cars.
Weather and What to Wear
The walk-through weekend is composed of international food and beverages, customed characters, visits with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and other special performances. The Fantasy of Lights is a three-mile loop of light displays, so make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes.
Daytime temperatures lower by 6°F, from 60°F to 54°F. It rarely falls below 41°F or exceeds 71°F.
