Where It’s Located and How to Get There

Foresta Lumina is located in Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook in 400 Rue Saint-Marc, Coaticook, QC J1A 2M3, Canada. The park will welcome every visitor in a natural environment and offers tons of activities, from summer to winter.

To access Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, you have to take exit 21 off Highway 55. After that, you will need to take Route 141 and follow the signs.

If you are traveling from Montreal, you can reach the festival venue by bus or car. 

If you prefer taking the bus, the direct bus departs at Montreal Tourist Information Center (1255 Rue Peel station) and arrives at Quebec (Coaticook Gorge Park Station). The journey lasts around 2 hours. The bus services depart hourly.

Aside from the bus, you can also bring your car and drive from Montreal to the festival venue. The driving distance is approximately 167 kilometers and takes around 2 hours.

When you visit Quebec in July, expect the weather to be warm and rainy. The average daytime temperatures are in the mid-20s Celsius (high 70s F). 

In August, you will experience a perfect temperature, but it also rains. During the day, the average temperatures are in the mid-20s Celsius (70s F). The nighttime average temperatures are in the low 10s Celsius (50s F). You may also encounter rainy days within the month.

The weather is mild and rainy if you visit Foresta Lumina in September. Daytime average temperatures are in the high 10s Celsius (60s F). 

The festival of lights ends in October, and expect brisk and rainy weather. The average overnight temperatures are in the single digits Celsius (the high 30s). On some days, the temperatures are in the single digits below 0 Celsius (below 28 F).
