Paso Robles Lights (Bruce Munro: Light at Sensorio) features two stunning installations by international artist Bruce Munro – Field of Light and Light Towers. Munro’s largest art­work to date, com­prised of more than 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber optics, gen­tly illu­mi­nat­ing the land­scape in sub­tle blooms of mor­ph­ing col­or that describe the undu­lat­ing land­scape.

This 15-acre walk-through experience is comprised of over 58,800 stemmed spheres, which are lit by fiber optics. They gently illuminate the landscape, delivering a burst of colors. Visitors can now also experience the latest Light Towers installation, which features 69 towers with over 17,000 wine bottles. You will witness how they beautifully illuminate the entire area with colorful, glowing optic fibers coupled with a musical score.

This fantastic light exhibition is powered by solar, offering an inviting vibe. Visitors can quickly engage with the environment and landscape through the twinkle lights, reflecting creativity, fun, and unity.

Bruce Munro: Light at Sensorio (Paso Robles Paso Robles light show) is about the intersection of nature, technology, and art. This event is specifically designed to deliver delight, adventure, meditation, exploration, and entertainment. While it honors the landscape’s natural topography, it offers kinetic, musical, and amusing experiences in one place.

US 101 Northbound 

If you are traveling from US 101 Northbound, you have to exit Highway 46 and then turn right to continue around 4 miles. Past Eberle Winery, you will find the Paso Robles Lights entrance on the second left.

US 101 Southbound

From Highway 46 East, you need to turn left to continue for approximately 4 miles. You will reach the festival of lights’ entrance on the second left when you pass Eberle Winery.

I-5 Northbound/Southbound

If you are from I-5 Northbound/Southbound, you need to take Highway 46 or 41 Westbound. From there, just past the El Paso de Robles City welcome sign, you have to turn right.

Meanwhile, you can try three ways to get to Paso Robles if you are from another state.

San Luis Obispo

First, you can fly into San Luis Obispo, which is the nearest city. You can find direct flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Seattle. From San Luis Obispo, the travel time is around 40 minutes before arriving at Paso Robles.

Los Angeles or San Francisco

You can get to Paso Robles via Los Angeles or San Francisco. You can go for a rental car for a road trip experience.

From Los Angeles, the driving time will take 3 to 5 hours if you choose Highway One. If you prefer Highway 101, getting to Paso Robles will take 4 hours.

From San Francisco, taking Highway One will give you 6 hours of driving. On Highway 101, it only takes 3 hours.

Amtrak 

If you want a relaxing and scenic way to reach Paso Robles but not the quickest one, you can opt for Amtrak. You can take the rails from San Francisco, which is 6 hours one way, or Los Angeles, which is 8 to 9 hours one way.
